Choose The Right Transmission

Manual or Automatic — Which Is Right For You?

Learn with experienced driving instructors offering one-to-one tuition, flexible lesson times and clear, practical coaching that help you build confidence to drive on the road.

Manual Lessons

  • A full manual licence lets you drive both manual and automatic cars
  • Often works out cheaper to insure long-term
  • Gives you more control in varied driving conditions
  • Recommended if you're not sure which to choose yet

Automatic Lessons

  • No clutch control to learn — many students progress faster
  • Often more comfortable for nervous or anxious learners
  • Great choice if you plan to drive an automatic long-term
  • Note: an automatic-only licence can't be used to drive manual cars
